What does Wind & Water Tight (WWT) mean?

Understand Wind & Water Tight container condition and when to choose it.

Wind & Water Tight (WWT) means the container is completely sealed against the elements but has been retired from active shipping service.

WWT containers:

  • Keep your contents dry and protected
  • Have functional doors that lock
  • May have cosmetic wear (rust, dents)
  • Cannot be used for ocean shipping
  • Are $300-$500 less than Cargo Worthy

Choose WWT if: You need ground storage, a workshop, or a conversion project where cosmetic condition will be covered anyway.
